How do I download my Standard License from Imperia Music Group after I purchase it?

Within 72 hours after you purchase a Digital recording and payment was successful, you will receive an email from Imperia Music Group with a PDF copy our Music Standard License for each track you purchase.

Will I receive a version without the voiceover?

Yes! The file you download after purchasing will not have the voiceover. The voiceover is simply used on the preview as a watermark for the track when you listen to it on our site.

I received a copyright infringement notice from YouTube that my music from Imperia Music Group belongs to a third party. Why did this happen and what can I do?

What You Need To Know: 

• Any music tracks that you purchase from Imperia Music Group are licensed for use across YouTube, Vimeo, podcasts, and other social media videos. 

• In order to prevent fraud and piracy, YouTube has created a Content ID system that automatically analyzes and matches music to the attributed rights holder. This ID also catches some royalty-free content. 

• Whenever YouTube raises a claim after identifying music within a video, they also include an option for the video creator to file a dispute. 

What To Do If Your Video Is Claimed by Content ID: 

• Please follow YouTube’s video creator dispute process and indicate that you have purchased the necessary rights to use the content by including your receipt and send Youtube a copy of your Music Standard License we emailed you after your purchase. The claim will then be dropped. Unfortunately, false or mistaken copyright claims are a known issue with YouTube and music libraries.  You can read more about making a counter notification here: https://www.youtube.com/t/copyright_counter
 

Please note that your Music Standard License does NOT allow you to upload your project to YouTube’s Content ID system. Imperia Music Group retains ownership of the recording. Due to the nature of YouTube’s content recognition software, uploading Imperia Music Group music to Content ID will cause mistaken copyright claims for other users and for your future projects, and constitutes a violation of our licensing terms.

• A link to your YouTube video. Please check that your video is not set to private, unlisted is okay

• The name of the company that has raised a claim or a screenshot of the claim. Ex: AdRev

Why won’t my download start? Why is my download so slow?

The problem could be a general internet outage in your area or it might be your personal internet connection. Please try restarting your modem/router and then download again! If you are still unable to download your tracks, please email us at imperiamusicgroup@gmail.com
